We are really excited to announce the launch of our fabulous
brand new packaging for our entire MacuShield range.

You’ll see this arriving in store over the coming weeks, but don’t worry – the designs are new
but the formulations inside haven’t changed at all.

Here is why we’ve done it, and what you can look out for…

Why are we changing it?

The brand new packaging is changing to reflect the values that we hold, whilst staying true to our core. We believe in the science, and the trust that people have in our brand. In fact, MacuShield Original Formula is the No.1 recommended supplement by Eye Experts* and has also won the Boots Vitamin award in 2017 and 2018!

Why is the brand yellow?

That’s an easy one, the LMZ3 that makes up our core formulation has a natural yellow colouring that makes up the macular pigment which is found at the back of the eye, at the macula. So it makes sense that what’s on the outside of the box, should reflect what’s inside the box.

Contains LMZ3:

Don’t worry, it has always contained LMZ3, but we thought it was about time to tell you more about it. We are proud of our ingredients and the quality standards with which we insist and LMZ3 is our mark to be able to ensure you are getting a high quality product. Our LMZ3 is a specific combination of lutein (L), meso-zeaxanthin (M) and zeaxanthin (Z) and is derived from a botanical extract obtained from the marigold flower (Tagetes erecta), shown in the image to the right.

Informed-Choice and Informed-Sports:

You will see these logos popping up on the new packaging as well. It is yet another independent quality test that we have undertaken on the products so that you can be assured it has undergone rigorous checks and testing to ensure that the product has been tested for banned substances.
